Group outlines plan
Reinstatement of intervisitation was the topic of discussion at the Executive Women's Dorm Council meeting Tuesday, but no final decision on the policy was reached. The meeting was called to organize the collective responses of the three female dormitories into a proposal to present to the administration.
Intervisitation was temporarily suspended last semester by Ray Thornton, president of Arkansas State University, after two rapes were reported on campus.
Peggy Stroud, associate dean of Students, presided over the meeting. "We're looking for a system that is fair, equitable, and enforceable," she said.
